Shakhtar Donetsk Won The UEFA Cup Final

Shakhtar Donetsk Football Club, for the first time, made a history in UEFA Cup. On wednesday, they beat Werder Bremen Football Club, one of Germany Bundesliga side in UEFA Cup final at at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey. Shakhtar Donetsk became the first-ever Ukrainian side to win a European club competition.

Shakhtar Donetsk got their victory as they beat Werder Bremen, 2-1 after the extra time. Shakhtar Donetsk's goals were scored by Luiz Adriano and Jadson who scored in the seventh minute of extra-time. Beside the first Ukrainian football club could champ the UEFA cup, Shakhtar Donetsk also became the last football club which enjoyed the UEFA Cup. Because for the next season, UEFA cup will be reformated become Europe League. Congratulations for Shakhtar Donetsk!
